A Little White Kitchen {Remodel} This Old House Part II

I am so happy to share some photos of this darling family home with you, which I recently had photographed by the talented Carrie Owens. The story of this home is a wonderful one; it was owned and lived in by my client's grandparents so there were many memories and attachment to the house.  When my client purchased the home the rooms were chopped up and tiny.  There was a formal dining room, a teeny tiny kitchen that was dark and unwelcoming.  We decided to open it up and create one very bright and cheery space that would be functional for this young family-

I love the beveled white subway backsplash we used!

We wanted to keep the home's original charm, so I suggested using the vintage looking open shelves, so happy she loved the idea too.

The eating nook with the built in bench is adorable and so functional.
and the farmhouse sink-

I also love her bathroom, the wall covering, subway tile and charming little touches-so cute.

Thank you to this family for letting me help with their remodel project, I absolutely love how it turned out!
